CMTREX is an IT-driven platform that will innovate the way hemp is traded. The CMTREX Platform will initially provide suppliers an omni-channel platform whereby their inventory will be directly marketed to a wide range of targeted and vetted buyers across a range of trading mechanisms. This in turn will maximize the value of the transaction for sellers and enhance purchasing efficiency and price transparency for buyers. CMTREX will also introduce alternative trading mechanisms not yet implemented in the industry including but not limited to tenders and forward contracts. Behind the secure user interface, lies blockchain technology providing further provenance to our platform as well as the adoption of mathematical algorithms to enhance the matching of products to buyers which will augment the efficiency and transparency of global hemp trading.

Furthermore, CMTREX is the first portfolio company in iCAN’s new innovation and incubation program which allows for CMTREX to tap into iCAN’s robust global ecosystem of industry stakeholders as well as leverage off the knowledge and expertise of the iCAN Team.
